Try to avoid the repetition of the 'standard' poses. You should do them but try to give the editors some new variations. I enjoy doing the 'knock-kneed' poses with models. It gives them an awkward school-girlish appeal. Remember to keep the toes pointed.

The model at the left was perfect for such poses since she has that fresh look When you are concentrating on leg poses don't forget to make sure the rest of her looks good. This girl had nice size tits that would have rolled off her chest if I hadn't had her squeeze them together with her arm.

Try to avoid making your whole shooting a series of photos where the model just looks like she is posing for the camera.

Have her doing things. The model on the right has been directed to look as if she is on the floor dressing. Pulling on a stocking with shoes and garter belt waiting to be next.

Most shoots take place with the model dressed and then slowly stripping for the photographer, but I have often had the model naked and then put on her clothes like she is dressing for a date while finishing the shoot like she is being ravaged by her date at the end of the evening (see photo below)

Your shooting will require some 'spread shots' and they don't have to be totally nude. To keep in the leg theme you can have her in stockings and a garter belt like you undressed her only part way before ravaging her. Try to make these poses 'realistic' as if she were going to have sex with the reader (or IS 'having sex' with him).

Avoid those shots where she seems to be spreading her legs for the camera and no other reason.
